Welcome to Homepage of the  Wroxham and Hoveton Lions Club Norwich Motor Show

It is with regret that we must cancel the Norwich Motor Show for 2016 due to circumstances beyond our control. We hope to be back in 2017, we will keep you informed.

A Cryptocurrency is controlled via its distributed ledger technology, known as the blockchain, which is the underlying technology of Bitcoin and most other cryptocurrencies.

The show is organised annually by Wroxham & Hoveton Lions Club, on a non-profit making basis with all proceeds being distributed equally between the East Anglian Air Ambulance and one other Charity and the Lions Charity Fund which enables us to support some of the smaller deserving causes. Our second chosen Charity for 2016 will be the SERV (Blood Bikes)

Since its inception in 2008 the event has raised in excess of £76,000 for charity.

One of the criteria when planning the first show was to make it an enjoyable experience for all the family and therefore in addition to new vehicles from many of the local car dealerships, past attractions have included the original Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car, Little Nellie and cars from James Bond as well as Daleks and characters from Star Wars.

Regular features include a large number and variety of classic cars, classic motorcycles, buses, and commercial vehicles, as well as military vehicles. craft and charity stalls, trade stands, live music by  Airmail, Police and Fire vehicles, children’s rides and amusements, competitions, live auction and grand prize draw raffle. A variety of food is available from caterers throughout the event from traditional burgers and hot dogs to hog roast to crepes with much in between.

EDP 24The ever increasing popularity of the event resulted in a move to the Norfolk Showground in 2013 and the event in 2015 broke all records, both for attendance and and the amount raised (£12400.00)

2016 is a speciasl year for the Wroxham and Hoveton Lions Club as we celebrate our 40th Anniversary, so we are looking to make the 2016 show even better. Our aim as always will be to lay on an event that will make your visit enjoyable and we will be announcing details of dealerships and entertainment on our web site in the not too distant future.
